A Stone Key - Access to City of Mist

At the time of writing, this key does not drop from Captain of the Guard, but exists in the database.

A Stone Key allows you to to open the doors in the fortress in the back of City of Mist. It goes on your key ring once used.

This key drops from Captain of the Guard, a named that spawns randomly in the City of Mist courtyard. More than 1 can be up at a time. Always drops.

Key to Charasis - Access to Howling Stones

Key to Charasis will grant you access to Howling Stones (Charasis). It’s a simple quest that requires getting two items: Jade Chokidai Prod and Xalgozian Fang.

Jade Chokidai Prod (Droppable, check EC Tunnels) – Drops in Lake of Ill Omen from:

Chancellor of Di’zok is a level 40 Shaman. He roams all over the western side of the zone, including into the goblin caves up north. The rest of the mobs are Lv20-30.

Your best plan is to clear as many mobs as possible inside the fort. Chancellor of Di’zok runs SoW speed so you’ll want to have a tracker run around to see if he is already up.

Xalgozian Fang – Drops in Kaesora from:

Howling Stones - TemporaryKeys and Dungeon Progression

WARNING: Upon zoning in, you may be greeted by two to three hostile NPC’s!

This dungeon is meant to be done in a linear fashion, your forward progress controlled by the need for no rent keys to move on to further parts of the dungeon. However, rogues are able to bypass these requirements by picking any lock in the dungeon, and are highly prized here for this ability. The keys can be obtained from either monsters or found lying on the ground in various places. You must travel from North Wing, to West Wing, to South Wing, to East Wing if you are using the keys.

All keys are temporary (they disappear if you log out), but they are added to your keyring. They do not appear in the /keys listed text. Their locations are:

Everywhere:

North:

West:

South:

  • Coin Depicting Innoruuk - Floor drop in south in the room with 3 spawns on the west side of South approx loc (Y: -705.69, X: -51.92) . This is key to East Wing (The door between where Drusella Sathir spawns, 14 on the map, and the zone-out portal cannot be opened by any key.)

Hand of Glory - Permanently Open Locked Doors in Howling Stones

The Hand of Glory allows you to open locked doors in Howling Stones (Charasis). You’ll need to gather four ground spawns around the zone (one per wing); then combine them in a container (which is one of the 4 spawns) to create the key.

Note: All items except Blood Encrusted Glove (4-slot container) are tradable.

– a froglok forager drops Medallion of the Kunzar
– a froglok hunter drops Medallion of the Nathsar
